I wanted something to hold my microwave that didn't take a lot of space and was not bulky looking. This is adequate. Aside from the wooden shelf, it is nice looking.

[...] Design was lovely, but slightly, slightly flimsy, however it is perfect for holding wine bottles, cookbooks, plants, and a SMALL microwave. Do not be fool though... the wood is simply pressed/fake wood. It is also a cherry wood color and not oak as the photos more or less show. I'd buy it again as it was WELL WORTH the money! Everyone who sees it simply loves it!
